Description:
Jump inside, climb up, hang upside down, rock back and forth, feel how easy movement comes in a Pupa. Pupas are a type of playful furniture designed for people who can’t sit still, but like to jiggle. These hanging geodesic structures are made from high-quality ashwood, polyester rope and bouncing on industrial extension springs, giving the whole structure an organic, almost animalistic, movement. Every room feels more playful and light with a Pupa suspended from the ceiling or from one of our custom built wooden frames.
Assemblage:
As a building-kit we give you all the materials you need to build your own Pupa and a video-tutorial on how to assemble one. It takes two inexperienced people about four hours to complete the build. If you’re not sure how to create a secure wall-or-ceiling-anchor, reach out to us and we guide you in the process.
Note that the Pupa doesn’t come with its own pillow. However, on request we can make an extra large, round pillow of 120 cm’s in diameter that fits the Pupa Hive perfectly. For more information reach out to us here.
