To the ceiling and beyond!
The FLITE is perhaps the most challenging and thrilling piece of furniture we have ever made. It is designed as a suspended wooden platform with a base of soft padding and two bars with nets extending from the base. The extension springs the FLITE is suspended from are no joke, they’re massive two meter long industrial springs that have a maximum reach of four meters!
The FLITE project literally started as a “flying bed”, but we learned that what you actually want to do on the FLITE is surfing! Air-surfing as we call it, which might some day be a real sport. The FLITE is still being developed and currently exists as a “proof-of-concept”. We have a working prototype, but it’s not ready to market just yet. In the meantime we are offering it as an experience for placements at events.
