Jump inside, climb up, hang upside down, rock back and forth, feel how easy movement comes in a Pupa. Pupas are a type of playful furniture designed for people who can’t sit still. These hanging geodesic structures are made from high-quality ashwood, durable polyester rope and bouncing on industrial extension springs that give the whole structure an organic, almost animalistic movement. Every room feels more playful and light with a Pupa suspended from the ceiling or from one of our custom-built wooden frames.
Hassle-free installation
We can make Pupas of all kinds of sizes and shapes, ranging from six meters across to an average person’s length. Tell us what your needs and wishes are and we can recommend what shape and size would work best. With custom-made Pupas we come and install it for you hassle-free. Interested in having or piloting a Pupa in your space? Reach out to us for more information. We have a ton of experience creating wall-or-ceiling anchors strong enough to lift a car (or our experience). Not sure if the walls or ceiling of your (possibly historic) building can hold a Pupa? We offer our knowledge free-of-charge. Adding a free-standing, custom-built wooden-frame for the Pupa can be an elegant solution, creating a natural podium for the Pupa to draw extra attention.
Note that the Pupa doesn’t come with its own pillow. However, on request we can make a large, round pillow of 120 cm’s in diameter that fits the Pupa Hive perfectly.
